Shaft Mounted Clutches
Engine (or motor) shaft mount.
Used with Watson or Hayes Spicer shaft.
Type E, for use with Spicer shaft
This particular clutch is specifically designed for heavy duty applications. Similar to Type HMU, but mounts on the driving shaft and is designed to support the end of a driven universal shaft.
Type HMU for universal joint
This unit is an alternative to the type E; same parts and features as the UMH. Mounts on engine stub shaft or motor shaft. Clutch weight is on engine or motor shaft. Spicer shaft will be rotating if used as standby drive.
