Coupling Style Clutches
Shaft to shaft in-line mounting Type A
A coupling arrangement for close shaft mounting. Either driving or driven shaft must be moved for clutch service. Furnished for bushing mounting on driven side and bored to suit on driving side. Close shaft alignment must be maintained.
Type B
A coupling arrangement for gap mounting between two in-line shafts. Hubs furnished for bushing mounting. If close alignment cannot be maintained then Type GMG is recommended.
Type GMG for Gear coupling
This arrangement utilizes gear coupling halves on each side of the clutch module. Gear coupling clutches can be supplied with a spacer or shaft to accommodate large gaps. GMG arrangements are recommended for difficult to align or maintain installations or high speed applications.
